Introduction
"Peking Opera Turandot" is an innovative adaptation of the classic Italian opera "Turandot". This unique production is a collaborative effort between the China National Peking Opera Company and the Italian Emilia-Romagna Theater Foundation. Blending elements of traditional Chinese Peking Opera with Western dramatic and musical influences, the production seeks to present the moving legend of the "Chinese Princess" through a fresh, contemporary lens.
Since its premiere at the Bolzano Theatre in Italy in 2019, the opera has toured various Italian cities, including Ferrara and Rome, gathering praise from diverse audiences for its artistic ingenuity.

The Peking Opera Turandot was specifically designed as a cultural bridge, showcasing the harmonious fusion of Eastern and Western artistic traditions.
